Past Withdrawal/Recall Notices

Members are advised that this product is being voluntarily recalled by Costco Wholesale Australia Pty Ltd, due to the potential for small parts to be created when some crayon blocks are dropped onto hard surfaces, thus posing a potential choking hazard for children aged under 3.

There have been no reports of anyone choking or being injured in Australia. The voluntary recall is a precautionary measure as there can be no compromise when it comes to product quality or the health and safety of our members.

In keeping with this action, we ask that Costco members please return the product to your nearest Costco store for a full refund. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Fonterra Brands (Australian) is conducting a voluntary recall of Mainland Tasty Cheese Block 700g with a best before date of 28 February 2012 (batch CA).

The recall follows the detection of a metal fragment found in a single pack of 1 kg product in New Zealand.

There have been no reports of anyone being injured or becoming ill.

This is a voluntary recall as there can be no compromise to product quality or the health and safety of our consumers.

Consumers should not consume the product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
