A great way to use your air fryer, these salmon cakes are great served with a green salad.

  • 200g hot smoked salmon side, flaked
  • 400g red baby potatoes, cooked, peeled and mashed
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • ½ cup fresh wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil spray
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh dill
  • 100g light sour cream


Mix the salmon, potatoes, egg, garlic, spring onion and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Using two hands, form ¼ cup amounts of the mixture into patties. Spray with olive oil.
Put the patties in the basket of your air fryer, in batches, and cook at 180°C for 8 mins. Garnish with chopped dill and serve with sour cream on the side.
