Can my employees use my Business card to shop for my business?
About your Business card
Think of your Costco membership card as photo identification - it’s non-transferable and only the person whose name and photo appears on it can use it.
Costco offers two types of business membership: Business Membership or Business Executive Membership. If your employees need to shop at Costco, it is possible to register up to 6 affiliate members at a cost of $65 per member so that each person can have their own card. For example, if you have three employees who’ll need to shop, you can sign them up under your business name. See the Membership Page for more information about benefits and rewards for business members.
Business members are also entitled to a secondary household card, which is free to a primary cardholder’s spouse, immediate family member or domestic partner over the age of 18 and living at the same address. You cannot nominate an employee for this card.
Upon signing up, additional business members will require photo identification that displays their residential address. Potential household card members will require photo identification that shows a residential address matching that of the primary member.
As Costco sells liquor in Australia, you must be over 18 to become a member.
