Everyone’s busy, so an online account is often the most convenient way to manage your Costco membership. You can sign up, renew your membership when it’s due, and even pre-order for pick up from our deli and bakery departments.

Logging into your online account is simple, but sometimes you can occasionally run into issues. If you receive the error message “Login could not be completed due to unregistered account” when signing in, you either don’t have an online account or you entered your email or password incorrectly.

Try logging in again, double checking you entered your email and password exactly as you did when you registered or signed up for your membership online. If you don't have a password, you don't have an online account, so head to online registration to register your membership.

An online account isn’t created automatically when you sign up at a warehouse. Once you pick up your card, use your membership number to register online.
