About your account
You can view and change your online account details through your "My Account" dashboard. My Account allows you to update your auto renewal settings, email, password, shipping address and your online payment method.
Please note that although you can access the My Account dashboard through the Costco App, you can only make changes to your account details through your online account.
When you click “My details”, you’ll see your personal, membership and contact details. If you need to, you can change your mobile phone number or gender at any time. When changing your phone number, make sure to enter it correctly: without hyphens or spaces. If you don’t type your number correctly, you’ll see an error message.
You’ll also see your auto renewal settings on this page. Turning on auto renewal allows us to automatically update your membership before it expires, so you’ll have the convenience of a card that’s always ready to use. We’ll let you know 15 days before your membership renewal is due and we’ll contact you to confirm if your payment was successful. If you click “Turn on auto renewal”, you’ll be directed to "Account payment methods" where you can enter your credit or debit card details and switch auto renewal on.
Your payment details are encrypted, so no one can see, use or alter anything except for you. If you decide auto renewal isn’t for you, you can turn it off at any time.
Change password
Enter your current password followed by your new password, then confirm by entering your new password again. Click “Update password” and you’ll receive a message confirming the update was successful.
My address book
In this tab, you can add, edit, delete or set your default address. To add your address, click on the large "Add New Address" start typing in your address, suburb and postcode. Click “Find address” and select the correct one from the drop down menu. After you’ve done this, the remaining details will autofill. Make sure to double check everything is correct.
You must use "Find address" when completing this section, otherwise the form won’t submit correctly.
My payment methods
Here you can add, edit, delete or set your default payment method. You must fill out all fields with an asterix*.
You can also change your auto renewal settings. To do this, simply click the button to “Off” or “On”.
Your payment details are encrypted, so no one can see, use or alter anything except for you. If you change your mind about auto renewal, you can turn it on or off at any time.
My contact preferences
At Costco, we present you with incredible value. To hear about the latest promotions, current savings and new offers, both at the warehouse and online, select your preferred contact method. Don’t worry—we don’t send any spam, but we do send the latest coupons, so you can make sure you don’t miss any savings!
If you change your mind, you can update your contact preferences at any time.
My orders
When you order an item, you can refer back to this section to see a history of all your orders.
For specific details of your order, including when it was placed, the billing and shipping address, product details and the total cost of your order, click on the order you placed under “Order Number”.
The “Status” column shows whether the item has been created, cancelled or shipped. When you first order an item, the status column will be labelled as “Created”. If you change your mind and you want to cancel your order you will need to click on the “Cancel items” button within 30 minutes of placing your order. This will change the label to “Cancelled”, otherwise the status will be processed and shipped after this time and the “Shipped” label will appear.
You can cancel or return items that you purchase online by clicking on the relevant buttons. We will refund your purchase in full, but please bear in mind that there are exceptions to goods and services that cannot be returned such as hearing aids, certain electronics, special order kiosk and so on which are listed in our change of mind and return policy. Most items can be returned back by post and a refund will be issued within 7-10 days, but if the item is a large item or it is listed as an exception under our return policy a member of our staff will contact you to advise you of what to do next.
My Wishlist
When you browse our website, you may come across products that you may want to save and go back to later. To save these products to your account, simply click on the "Add to Wishlist" link that appears under the "Buy Now!" button on the product page. To view your collection simply go to your account and click on the "My Wishlist" tab to see all your products here.
