Description

In spring of 2019, Lark’s head distiller travelled to South Australia and uncovered a treasure trove of fortified wine casks in the Barossa Valley. Amongst the old oak port and sherry casks, he came across a very small parcel of ex-muscat casks. One cask was hand chosen as the perfect finishing cask for this extraordinary whisky. A syrupy single malt with notes of toffee-coated apples, clove-studded oranges and a hint of our signature Tasmanian peat. Lark’s Muscat Cask Finish 2020 was awarded GOLD (96 Points) at the 2020 International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC), Lark’s highest achievement at the IWSC to date.
