Sunsational Jumbo Soft Apricot 1.13kg
The variety of Türkiye sun dried apricots is Prunus armeniaca L. called as “Şekerpare”. The origin of this fruit is Malatya which is in Eastern Anatolia Region in Türkiye.
Drying process begins by reaping of fresh and ripe fruits from the trees into the cases and continues with sulphur dioxide cure for 2 or 3 days, then dried under the sunlight on plastic sheets. Semi dried fruits are pitted manually by hand, and then drying continue till to reach optimum moisture content. In our plant, all apricots are mechanically washed, inspected on the lighted belt and tables to remove any foreign material and defects. Selected dried apricots are treated by a hot solution in a boiler to make it to make them soft and juicy. Apricots are packed, passed through checkweigher and metal detector before release.
This process takes place under hygiene and good manufacturing practices.
