The Fraxinus Oxycarpa 'Raywoodii,' known as Claret Ash is a beautiful fast growing deciduous tree with an upright growth habit and open canopy. Its deep green and narrow leaves in summer turn a rich claret colour in autumn. They are frost and drought tolerant. Field grown to produce a hardy and strong tree. Harvested in winter when dormant then placed in a bag. Early growth stages in the ground produces a more resilient and robust tree living longer than other trees grown entirely in pots.
