Description

The Pyrus ussuriensis or Manchurian Pear is one of the last deciduous trees to lose its leaves which are glossy dark green in summer and turn to spectacular autumn colours. Stunning delicate single white flowers in spring make this a popular choice. Field grown to produce a hardy and strong tree. Harvested in winter when dormant then placed in bag. Early growth stages in the ground produces a more resilient and robust tree living longer than other trees grown entirely in pots.
