With a flavour profile laying somewhere between a highland malt and a Kentucky bourbon Kurayoshi 8 Year Old Pure Malt is a fruity whisky that is best described as gentle and smooth with a mischievous edge. Light gold in colour it has the aroma of smoked almonds mixed and malt. On the tongue, it is refreshing with a nutty flavour that quickly gives way to notes of green apple, orange zest, and vanilla caramels. It has a medium finish that is light and smooth. This an ideal dram after dinner on warm evenings or by the fire after a long day.
