Penfolds FWT 543 Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2022 750ml

This inaugural French Winemaking Trial FWT 543 release brings together structural Cabernet Sauvignon and highly textural Syrah. A classic Australian blend in a French context. Familiar yet altogether different. A swirl reveals a spice bazaar with baking spices, clove and icing sugar.

Herbal rosemary, beeswax and floral nuances of olive tree bloom with juniper berry, Sicilian green olive tapenade, beef carpaccio and dry cured duck. The palate delivers sweet and sour Amarena cherries, red cherry and strawberry, balanced by bay leaf and chocolate mint.
