Distilled by Masahiro Shuzo, one of the oldest and largest distillery in Okinawa, Japan. Kujira Ryukyu Whisky 10 years was distilled from 100% Indica rice and mashing with “black Koji”, an unique koji that could only be found in Okinawa. Matured in White Oak Virgin Cask for more than 10 years. Non chill filtered and non colored.

The Kujira 10 Year Old is a distinctive Japanese single grain whisky produced by the Masahiro Distillery in Okinawa. Crafted from 100% Indica rice and fermented with black koji, a traditional Okinawan method. It undergoes a decade of maturation in virgin American white oak casks. The subtropical climate of Okinawa accelerates the aging process, imparting unique characteristics to the whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Aromas of honey and brown sugar intertwined with spices and soft oaky nuances.

Palate

Rich and buttery, featuring caramel, roasted wood, liquorice and hints of clove and cinnamon.

Finish

A long, spicy finish with a slight pleasant bitterness that balances the initial sweetness.
