Costco offers a variety of cultured pearls: Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian, and freshwater pearls.
Unlike diamonds, pearls do not have a global standardized grading system. Therefore, Costco does not list grades on our pearl items. Costco's Graduate Gemologists ensure that our pearls have good luster, shape, minimal blemishes, and are well matched.
Care and Maintenance
Pearls are soft and are easily scratched. It's important to wear and store your pearl jewellery with care. Pearl jewellery can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Avoid all harsh chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, hair spray, and perfume as they will damage your pearls. Please remember to have your jewellery inspected by a qualified jeweler every 6 months for any needed maintenance or repair.
