Frosé Frosé
 

Entertaining this spring? This frozen rosé will go down a treat!

Overnight + 30 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 1 750ml bottle rosé
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 200g strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Method

Pour rosé in an ice tray and freeze overnight.

Heat sugar and water in a saucepan and boil gently until sugar dissolves. Add strawberries and allow to soften. Remove from heat and let cool.

Remove frozen rosé from the freeze (it may not freeze solid due to alcohol content), and place in a blender with berry mixture and crushed ice. Blend to slushie consistency. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
